Swift

Object storage is a modern and highly scalable method for storing vast amounts of unstructured data. Unlike traditional file systems that organize data in hierarchical folders, or block storage that breaks data into fixed-size chunks, object storage treats each piece of data as a self-contained unit called an object. Object storage is accessed via a HTTP-based RESTful API, which allows for easy integration with cloud-native applications and global accessibility from anywhere with an internet connection.

Swift is an object storage service where you can store large amounts of data in a secure and cost-effective way. Perfect for, for example, images, documents and other static files. An object uploaded to Swift is saved in three copies, one copy in each data center. We only use Solid-State disks to always provide fast and stable performance and all data is encrypted when saved. Swift has its own API but there is also s3 compatibility.
