Virtuozzo is our Platform as a Service (PaaS). With Virtuozzo PaaS you can create a complete server environment for your Java, PHP, Ruby, Python or Node.js application or run your own Docker container and be up and running in minutes. The service scales automatically and you only pay for actual use of resources. It's very simple and quick to get started.

The platform is based on Virtuozzo PaaS which is present in over 30 countries and is delivered by over 50 hosting providers. We are the Swedish supplier of Virtuozzo PaaS and Elastx has the highest ratings in both performance and customer support.

The platform is built to withstand large volumes and high availability requirements. We offer three regions here in Sweden which are three completely separate data centers located at disaster-safe distance from each other (20km).

When you use our Virtuozzo PaaS you only pay for the capacity you consume, this is measured per minute!

Our Virtuozzo PaaS automatically scales up and down IT-capacity depending upon what your application requires for time being. The compute capacity is measured in units called Cloudlets. One Cloudlet is equal to 128MB RAM and 400MHz CPU. You can have dynamic Cloudlets that scales automatically or you can have reserved Cloudlets that are fixed but costs less. There is an automated discount that is based on how much Cloudlets you consume.

When you upgrade your new or existing account and deposit at least 10 SEK to your balance for the first time, you will get an additional 300 SEK added to your balance as a try out bonus.

Elastx Cloud Platform (ECP) is designed for business-critical services and sensitive data. Therefore we include several services to ensure high availability and security by default. These services are generally not included by other providers.

The following services are included as standard in our prices: 24x7 support, Threat Intelligence, DDoS protection, encrypted traffic between our availability zones and encryption of storage.

Elastx responsibility is to make sure all platform services are fully operational and secure. We also upgrade the platform normally two times per year to add enhancements and new features.

Customer responsibility is to manage the application, the data and making sure there is enough resources (Cloudlets and storage) available. That also includes making sure adequate redundancy, backup (RTO and RPO) and to make sure the environment is protected with firewall. When running a VPS or your own Docker image the customer is also responsible for configuring and patching the operating system and all applications running on the node.
