The Swedish cloud provider Elastx and the Swedish global software company Varnish Software are entering into a strategic partnership to launch an integrated solution for cloud infrastructure and Content Delivery Network (CDN), operating under Swedish and European legislation. The initiative addresses rapidly growing demand for secure, high-performance, and sovereign digital infrastructure.
Through this collaboration, Elastx’s Swedish cloud platform is combined with Varnish CDN technology in a unified solution. This enables organizations to manage their entire digital delivery chain, from application to distribution, with control under Swedish and European legislation and without reliance on non-European providers.
Meeting increasing demands for security and control
The initiative is driven by a market shift where both regulatory requirements and geopolitical risks are reshaping how organizations view cloud services. Regulations such as NIS2 and increasing risks linked to, for example, the US CLOUD Act are driving demand for solutions where data and traffic can be handled under European jurisdiction.
