This event took place 3rd of April at Elastx office in Waterfront Building, Stockholm. Elastx together with Solidfire sponsored the event that attracted a lot of OpenStack enthusiasts.
Elastx started by sharing our own experiences with setting up OpenStack in production and we also did a live demo of OpenStack. The session also covered current status with Docker integration and orchestrations tools.
After a leg stretch and refreshments, John Griffith joined us via a web session from US. John is a Senior Software Engineer at Solidfire, but also PTL for the OpenStack Block storage Project (Cinder) and member of the OpenStack Technical Comittee. He gave us a background about Cinder and also shared news about the project.
There were lots of questions after the sessions and we had a very pleasant evening with people hanging around after the sessions to share their experiences with OpenStack. Feel free to contact us if you are interested in OpenStack.
